摘要：Bu araştırmanın amacı, Yenişarbademli’nin ekoturizm potansiyelini SWOT analizi aracılığıyla ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmada, ekoturizm etkinlikleri için Yenişarbademli’nin uygun olup olmadığına odaklanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda Yenişarbademli’nin, ekoturizm açısından güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile çevresel fırsat ve tehditleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, teorik, uygulamalı ve keşifsel bir çalışmadır. Teorik kısım literatürden yararlanılarak hazırlanmış; uygulama kısmında, yöre halkının ekoturizm ve ekoturizm etkinlikleri hakkında görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla anket uygulanmıştır. Bunların yanında, bölgeye bizzat gidilerek doğal ve kültürel kaynaklar yerinde keşfedilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında 127 kişi ile yüz yüze anket yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Yenişarbademli, ormanları, mağaraları, doğası ve yaylaları ile ekoturizme ev sahipliği yapabilecek potansiyeldedir. Ekoturizm etkinliklerinden ise, dağ yürüyüşü (trekking), kuş gözlemciliği, kamp/karavan turizmi, dağcılık, bisiklet turizmi yapılabilecek alanlara sahiptir. Yenişarbademli’nin en zayıf yönlerinin, ulaşımda yaşanan zorluklar, alt yapı yetersizliği ve tanıtım eksikliği olduğu söylenebilir. Katılımcılar, Yenişarbademli’nin eşsiz bir doğal güzelliğe sahip olduğuna; ekoturizm etkinlikleri yapılabilmesi için altyapının hazır hale getirilmesine; yörenin tanıtımının yapılması ve etkinliklerin geniş kitlelere duyurulması gerektiğine dikkat çekmişlerdir.

A m ong the ec otou r ism a c t i v i t ies there are mountain tre kk ing, bird watching, c amping /cara v an tour i sm, mountaine e ring, bic yc le tour i sm. It c an be said that the w e a k n e s s e s of Y e nişa r bad e mli are the di f f i c ul t ies in tran s portat i on, lack of in f ras t ru c ture and lack of publ i c i t y . Part i c i p a nts point out th a t Y e nişa r bad e mli has a u nique natural b e auty; to ma k e in f ras t ru c ture r e ady for ec otourism a c t i v i t ies; the pro m ot i on of t he eve nt and t he a c t i v i t ies should be announ c e d to a l arge mass.
