摘要：Pensando como as instituições devem valorizar o seu funcionário como indivíduo e profissional agregador de valor à instituição, o presente trabalho possui como objetivo identificar o índice de satisfação profissional dos bibliotecários atuantes em bibliotecas particulares de Aracaju/Sergipe, a fim de compreender a satisfação desses profissionais no seu ambiente de trabalho. Para tanto utiliza o método descritivo-exploratório, além de questionário com questões abertas e fechadas, aplicado no Google Doocs para cinco bibliotecárias atuantes em diferentes bibliotecas particulares da capital sergipana. Nos resultados detectados no referido estudo, há neutralidade nas respostas das bibliotecárias quanto à satisfação profissional, sendo possível detectar déficts que são recorrentes em bibliotecas escolares particulares, como a falta de percepção dos funcionários administrativos e dos professores, da ação sócio-educativa que a biblioteca pode proporcionar, além da carência de investimentos para a manutenção e propagação de produtos e serviços. Tais deficiências impactam na satisfação profissional do bibliotecário, que se dedica para promover produtos e serviços de alta qualidade.
其他摘要：Thinking how institutions should value their employees as individuals and professionals that add value to the institution, the present study aims to identify the professional satisfaction index of librarians working in private libraries in Aracaju / Sergipe, in order to understand the satisfaction of these professionals in your work environment. For this purpose, it uses the descriptive-exploratory method, in addition to a questionnaire with open and closed questions, applied in Google Doocs for five librarians working in different private libraries in the capital of Sergipe. In the results detected in that study, there is neutrality in the responses of librarians regarding job satisfaction, being possible to detect deficits that are recurrent in private school libraries, such as the lack of perception of administrative employees and teachers of the socio-educational action that the library can provide, in addition to the lack of investments for the maintenance and propagation of products and services. Such deficiencies impact the professional satisfaction of the librarian, who is dedicated to promoting high quality products and services.
