  • 摘要:In this article we analyse certain elements of the educational reforms of the 1990s, the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education and the adoption of a competence-based teaching-learning model. The objectives of this article are to analyse these elements related to the aforementioned reforms and to propose a series of key principles to guide teaching towards a learning society. We conclude that school-based educational institutions can be considered, in their nature and mode of operation, institutions characteristic of modernity, whose students, however, present and demand features of post-modernity.
