摘要：Remarks on the erotic spell known as Sword of Dardanos (PGM IV 175-
1780), focusing on the relationship with other spells and with Greek, Egyptian,
and Jewish magical traditions and practices both of the image to be incised
in an amulet and of the features of the prayer-hymn to Eros that must
be recited, such as described in the spell. The structure of the paper is as
follows: 1. Introduction, 2. Scheme of the Sword of Dardanos, 3. The spell
and its background: 3.1 Eros in the PGM, 3.2 Underlying intertextuality and
interculturality, 3.3 Prayer for Eros; 4. Final thoughts.
