摘要：Thisarticleaimstopresentamonitoringexperience,carriedoutinthedisciplineofIntroductiontoScientificMethodologybelongingtothecurricularmatrixofthePedagogydegreecourseattheFederalUniversityofMatoGrossodoSul,morespecificallyatthePontaPorãCampus,whichislocatedontheborderoftheBrazilwithParaguay.Tomethodologicallyguidetheresearch,weusedbibliographicresearch(PIZZANIetal.,2012),documentalresearch(SILVAetal.,2009),Cellard(2014)andactionresearch(TRIPP,2005).Twosectionswereorganized,exceptfortheintroduction,inthefirstsectionthemethodologicaloutlineoftheresearchwasestablishedandthetheoreticalbasisforthedevelopmentoftheresearchisprojected.Theseconddealswiththeresultsobtainedandthediscussionabouttheexperienceofmonitoringinanundergraduatecourselocatedintheborderregion.And,inthefinalconsiderations,answerstotheinitialquestionsareexplicitlypresentedandpositiveandnegativeaspectsofmonitoringforteachertrainingarehighlighted.
