摘要:This article aims to analyze the contributions of the school library network in Vila Velha (ES) with regard to actions for the development of information literacy in students. It is a descriptive research, in which a pre-analysis of the projects of this network of libraries was carried out, selecting a sample with six, which included actions of information literacy. Then, an analysis was undertaken from the four dimensions of information literacy. As a result, it was found that the projects have aspects related to the technical, aesthetic, ethical and political dimensions. It is considered that these actions enable Basic Education students to access and use information, as well as the ability to perform a critical analysis of its contents. It is also possible to offer subsidies for the planning of future projects by the aforementioned library and for others that are interested in the theme.
