摘要：Este trabajo presenta resultados de una investigación histórica de carácter documental que tiene como objetivo analizar y describir las representaciones de la infancia en el período de la República Conservadora en Colombia (1880-1930). Bajo estas condiciones, fue propuesta la comprensión de la práctica del trabajo infantil en ese período histórico y su relación con los procesos de escolarización, así como como las prácticas pedagógicas durante el primer tercio del siglo XX. Se busca recapitular las representaciones que fueron configurándose sobre la infancia a principios de ese siglo, a partir de las transformaciones sociales y políticas de la época. Este trabajo se desarrolló bajo una propuesta historiográfica, a través del análisis documental, favoreciendo la preservación de la memoria histórica y el rescate del registro de experiencias significativas. La base teórica de este trabajo se fundamenta en tres ejes: infancia, trabajo infantil y escolarización, mediante los cuales se buscó redescubrir la vida de los niños y niñas colombianos de principios del siglo XX. Como resultados parciales de la presente investigación histórica y posterior al análisis de los documentos, se encontró que, a lo largo del proceso de industrialización, la incorporación de los niños al mundo laboral aumentó paulatinamente a mediados del siglo XIX, aspecto comprendido como una práctica natural y como parte del proceso de socialización de los niños.
其他摘要：This paper presents the results of a historical documentary research that aims to analyze and describe the representations of childhood in the period of the Conservative Republic in Colombia (1880-1930). Under these conditions, an understanding of the practice of child labour in that historical period and its relationship with schooling processes, as well as pedagogical practices during the first third of the 20th century was proposed. The objective was to recap the representations that were been formed about childhood in the early twentieth century, based on the social and political transformations of the time. Methodology and procedures: this article was developed under a historiographical proposal, through documentary analysis, favouring the preservation of historical memory and the recovery of the record of significant experiences. The theoretical basis of this work is based on three axes: childhood, child labour and education, through which we sought to, rediscover the lives of Colombian children since the beginning of the 20th century. As partial results of this historical investigation and after analysing the documents, it was discovered that, throughout the process of industrialization, the incorporation of children into the world of work gradually increased in the mid-19th century, an aspect understood as a natural practice and as part of the children's socialization process.
