摘要：This article aims to reflect on the relationship between the construction of a hegemonic ideal of masculinity and the forms of violence against women. As we recognize that violence is part of the reality of many women in democratic societies, it is urgent to investigate the ways in which it is possible to “combat” the social phenomenon of gender violence, which requires understanding the constituent elements of this process of exercising violence on the bodies of women.
