摘要:This article highlights the main features of the Glosario de términos gramaticales (Glossary of grammatical terms, GTG), a work published by the Association of Academies of the Spanish Language (ASALE) in 2019 and addressing to Spanish teachers of all Spanish speaking countries. The GTG is a small grammar dictionary made up of around 500 entries, to which are added around 50 graphs and diagrams. It differs from many other linguistic dictionaries by its content, its recipients, and its didactic tone. Entries contain cross-references, basic and complementary information (typographically differentiated), conceptual oppositions, bibliographic references to the two most recent complete grammars and other similar information. The GTG, which also contains a large number of graphics, does not avoid the controversial points, but presents them in a simplified and accessible way. Nor does it focus on normative issues, but rather on the concepts of morphology and syntax that teachers must know, manage, and adapt to do their work in the classroom.
