  • 摘要:In this study that aimed to determine the opinions of Turkish course teachers on the use of smart boards in Turkish classes, the phenomenological method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. The study was carried out with 30 Turkish course teachers working in 15 different cities in 2019. The data were collected through a semi-structured interview form which was prepared by the researcher and given its final form in the light of the feedback received from field experts (3 Turkish language experts and 1 assessment and evaluation expert). The obtained data were coded and subjected to content analysis. The obtained data captured the teachers’ opinions on the effects of the use of smart boards on teachers’ and students’ performance, their effect on classroom management, their contribution to the Turkish course, their compatibility with the textbooks used, and the language skills for which they were used the most and those for which they were not used. The results showed that the use of smart boards improved the teachers’ and students’ performance, that they were compatible with the textbooks used, that their use contributed to the teaching of Turkish course, and that they were widely used in the teaching of all language skills.
