摘要：Systems of financing higher educational institutions in the world's leading countries have been researched,the average level of financing this industry in different countries as a share of GDP has been determined. Expenditures of Ministry of education and science in Ukraine for education since 1997 have been analyzed. Peculiarities of budgetary financing of educational institutions in countries with different territorial order have been considered. The phenomenon of education as private,public and mixed good has been studied.
