摘要：The international financial crisis had its origins in the American subprime mortgage credits and speeded throughout the world. This paper tends to analyze the possibility that the Romanian banking system could be affected by the same kind of crisis. First we will analyze the American mortgage crisis based on the Lehman Brothers example of bankruptcy,then we will take a look over the Romanian banking system to see if the same scenario could be possible.
