摘要：Access to finance remains one of the fundamental problems of Romanian economy and part of a series of indicators that determine the macroeconomic vulnerability. This paper aims to assess a state of vulnerability using IMV (Macroeconomic Vulnerability Index). This index is modified in order to reflect the influence of credit risk,from a particular point of view – the restructuring procedures perspective. Lending to firms that are facing a restructuring process is a very risky goal for banks,but at the same time a must for overcoming the financial crisis. The results are significant for the economic context and lead to the conclusion that lending for restructuring is an opportunity for growth.
