摘要：The study is devoted to the entrepreneurship business system in Ukraine,in particular to small and medium businesses development. The main problems in the functioning of small and medium businesses are identified,and the ways of their development in a globalizing world are suggested. The theoretical generalization of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine is carried out and a new approach is offered in the article. The small and medium enterprises as an independent and effective element of a market economy significantly affect the restructuring of Ukrainian economy and contribute into the increase of total output,retail trade,creates an enabling environment for competition development and elimination of monopolies in business activities,that solves many economic,social and other problems. Based on the study of theoretical and normative framework of government regulation and support of small and medium enterprises including features of their development the definition of state support of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine is specified. According to the study of small and medium enterprises in Ukraine the recommendations for improvement and development of small enterprises in Ukraine in the legislative,economic and social spheres,in terms of government support are offered in the article.
