摘要：The relevance of this research topic due caused of the fact that the definition of competitiveness in the general sense,and at the enterprise level,is one of the most important issue for keeping the stable enterprise’s position in the market. Also,for the effective functioning of the industrial enterprises it is necessary to define a system of factors affecting to the competitiveness,for keeping their positions and for further improve. In this research article it was analyzed and systematized different ways to the theoretical definition of "competitiveness" for giving more complete disclosure of the economic nature of this term and for facilitating further research on this topic,as well as it was proposed our own general definition. it was compiled the log frame of enterprise competitiveness forming,showed the interaction and the relationship of internal and external factors,affecting to this process. It was allocated the resource potential of the company (which is defined as the set of available resources,connected to each other,the use of which could be achieve the economic effect) as one of the main initial internal factors of the enterprise’s competitiveness formation.
