摘要：Despite many initiatives to promote equal chances of women access to the maritime sector,worldwide gender equality remains an issue of the XXI century’s maritime sector. This paper is a review of the most important initiatives and actions of the International Maritime Organisation in promoting integration of women in a traditionally male-oriented industry.
