摘要：Starting with the 20th century practitioners and academics have tried to correctly identify the dependency relations between the capital inflows and the macroeconomic equilibrium of an open economy and the intensity of them in order to create better macroeconomic policies capable to ensure the perfect capital mobility. The present paper aims to present and analyse the main contributions to the international capital flows theory focused on the economic growth in an open economy and the financial liberalisation.
