摘要：The article describes the prerequisites for the development of labor migration in Ukraine. The main trends and negative consequences of international migration for Ukraine,including the growing problem of human trafficking,national aging,loss of fiscal revenues and increased strain on the pension fund have been defined. Statistics on labor migration indicators and the number of Ukrainian victims of trafficking in the world have been analyzed. In the conclusions possible solutions of overcoming social and economic problems associated with external labor migration,have been grounded,including monitoring internal and external migration data on its changes,signing international agreements on migrant workers’ abroad employment and social protection,improving higher education targeting to the needs of national and regional labor markets.
