摘要：In this paper,the authors have presented a detailed analysis of legal regulations (and secondary legislation) defining the complex and demanding role of the Croatian Coast Guard in the protection and preservation of Croatian national interests at sea and those related to the sea,expert opinions and the views of scientists,as well as statistical data related to the tasks realized. The authors have pointed out the particular importance and role of the Coast Guard in the world today,and have highlighted the ever-growing need for permanent investment into the Coast Guard personnel and equipment.
