摘要：The article deals with the principles of strategic management of economic security in the regions. Under the strategic management of economic security refers to a regional strategic plan, which aims to develop the regional economy,which in turn manifests itself in the development of social,cultural and other spheres in the regions. It is proved that strategic management of economic security in the regions should be developed and implemented in accordance with the following principles:consistency,regularity, continuity planning and interaction. It was found that the introduction of strategic management of economic security in the regions caused by the fact that:it exists and deepening the regional differentiation in economic development;it is observed low efficiency of the developed strategies for regional economic development;it exists incomplete and ineffective use of available resources to counter external threats and risks. The features of strategic management of economic security at the regional level were determined in relation to the national level. The article proves that the economic security of regional development impact meso- and macro level determinants that enable to consider:territorial,political,economic,social, technological,institutional and natural environmental aspects of economic security. Implementation of the strategic management of economic security regions will:reduce the degree of regional development differentiation;encourage the development of those regions and territories,which from some objective reasons can not operate in a self-development.
