摘要：The aim of this study is to present contemporary changes in the cultural landscape of the Ropa valley, connected with the construction and operation of the Klimkówka reservoir,based on the analysis of cartographic materials. The study compared the cultural landscape of the Ropa valley from the period preceding the construction of the reservoir (as of 1977) with a period after it starts (as of 2009). Transformation of the cultural landscape was analyzed for changes in land use and spatial organization of the area. The authors notice that additional factor which influences on the cultural landscape evolution of the Ropa valley are the social and economic changes occurring in the whole Polish Carpathians.
