摘要：The aim of the paper is to recognize relations between sound and sacrum. The main subject of research is sound and soundscape. Research work tends to get the answer for the following questions:what is role of sound in the present sacrum?,what sounds create sacrum? Studies are based on literature,Internet sources and a survey. The author pays a special attention to soundscapes connected with religious ceremonials that are registered on the list of The Intangible Cultural Heritage. He also investigate social conflicts which arise from presence of religious sounds in landscape. In the empirical part of the paper,the author presents results of the survey that concerns experiencing sacrum in landscape. The survey was carried out in 2012 among students of two faculties of the MCSU:Geography and Tourism and Recreation.
