摘要：The aim of the work is to present some example on visualising sound in landscape on sound maps. The paper is based on the analysis of literature,websites and questionnaire survey conducted in 2014 among the students of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin. Students were asked to visualise,in any form,the soundscape of a selected place and then describe and appraise it. It turned out that visualisation in the form of a drawing was easier because people could relate to the perspective it showed. A visualisation of soundscape proves useful for the purposes of acoustic design in acoustic revitalisation. Particularly useful tool in visualisation is GIS. The visualisation of soundscape can become an important contribution of geographers to soundscape studies. However,no visual depiction of sound,in the form of a line or curve,can be a real substitute for the sensual experience of sound at a specific time and place.
