摘要：The purpose of this article is to analyze and evaluate the role of characteristic features,discriminants and landscape determinants in classification. The meaning of above-mentioned terms was also specified. Defined the role of discriminants and determinants in the research landscape,particularly in the classification and assessment. It was justified by the need to introduce discriminants and determinants to study the landscape,as a category classification landscapes. Finally discussed was the importance of scientific and practical meaning of issues presented in the publication.
