摘要：Auto-aggressive behaviours are mostly common in teenagers, especially women, and are a method of inter alia relieving tension or coping with emotions. The aim of this study was to find out the opinions of young women on auto-aggression, in particular on the evaluation of the effectiveness of help and preventive measures within school education. The results of the study confirm findings from the source literature about the low effectiveness of the support system and poor family relations of women with auto-aggressive behaviours. Especially important is a feeling of loneliness in coping with problems, or lack of parental support observed in this group. Furthermore, the majority of self-harming women were victims of multiple victimizations. Based on the analysis of the results of this study, it can be assumed that the schools that the subjects attended lacked classes in adolescence or in developing coping skills. The paper ends with reflections on the role of school both in preventing auto-aggressive behaviours and taking measures when they appear.
