摘要：The aim of this study was to identify regions of high visual qualities of the landscape,which so far have been little interest to tourists and that might partially relieve the congestion of tourist regions. We used information from the Central Statistical Office (number of beds,accommodation provided,population number, 2004-2008),results of visual attractiveness of the landscape evaluation (Śleszyński,2007) and physicogeographical regionalization (Kondracki and Richling,1994). Research show the concentration factors pressures of tourism in the most attractive regions of the Polish landscape (Baltic coast,Tatra Mountains,Beskidy,Sudety and partly on the lakelands). At the same time,we managed to identify nearly 40 mezoregions,dealing with more than 6% of Polish area,which was located only circa 1% of the accommodation and tourist nights nationwide. Within them we should look for opportunities to relieve loaded tourist regions (mainly lakelands).
