摘要：In this study, the variation of seasona nutrient loading to be caused pollution and trophic state of the Sapanca Lake wlıich is the only source of drinking and usage water for the city of Adapazarı and its environs was investigated. Samples were taken every three ınontlıs through one year from fifteen different points on the streaıns feeding and draining off the lake. Paraınetcrs of temperature, pH., N03-N, N02-N .. NH3-N., TKN, P04-P. BOI5 and KOI on the different tweJve streaıns feeding and three draining off points were Fronı these values.. loading, discharge and accuınulation amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus causing eutrophication were calculated and trophic state of the lake was deterınined. According to the results and analyses using the Vollenweider method., indicated that the lake had passed to the mesotrophic state. In addition to avoid further pollution., possible subsequent eutrophic state and find soıne solutions in order to protect lake were discussed.
