摘要：To decrease the price of metarails is very important. Using the die desing is on of the method to do the that decorative metarials. kitchen appliances. electronic devices and even plastic stuff can be produced by means of that method without machining. In this study. one of the branch of design. compression dies are investigated and a prototype rosette is produced using that kin d of die. By conıpression di es any letters. numbers. figures and patten1s can be produced on the metallic sheet. Frequently. some problem suchas cracking of punches and unforming of the figures and patterns may be occurred. The advised solutions for those problems are enough compressing force and working materials hardness. Furthermore the hardness of the punch surface should be among 58-64 HRc.
