摘要:In this study, amount of lead accumulation emitted from automobiles on leaves of Pinus nigra subsp. nigra var. Caramanica species that grow in Kirikkale city center and its districts was investigated. Leaf samples were collected from nine different stations determined in the city center and its districts. The level of lead on the leaves collected from each station was determined with electron dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The most lead accumulation was on the leaf samples collected from Kirikkale city center (44.169%). When the lead accumulation on leaves collected from different districts was compared, the most pollution was measured in Babşili (38.917%) and the least pollution was measured in Karakecili (22.883%). The results of this study showed that the lead accumulation on the leaves of Pinus nigra species rises with increased traffic density and Pinus nigra species can be used as bio-indicator to determine the level of lead pollution.
