摘要：In this study; max. noise levels of important places in terms of noise of Sakarya city center were measured and compared with related to noise regulations. In this respect, specific measurement points at 38 different areas were selected for noise measurement at noise-sensitive locations (hospital, school etc.,), at high-traffic crossroads and at main roads at the city centre. In order to determine the maximum noise levels of these points, the measurements were taken within different times of the day over a period of one month between 07: 00 in the morning and 01: 00 at night. Approximately 700 measurement results were obtained from all the measurement points. As a result of the measurement and assessment, it was seen that the maximum level of noise value at the most of measurement points at Sakarya city center exceeded the noise value of 65 dBA (Turkish Noise Regulation) and 55 dBA (WHO) during the morning, evening and night times.
