摘要:In this study, the effects of blade size, agitation speed and the gap between the blade and the bottom surface on heat transfer rate in centripetally located boiling agitation vessels are aimed to investigate by experimentally. Aqueous sugar solutions at constant pressure and different temperatures were used for boiling experiments. The experiments were performed using 3 different agitator speeds, 2 different gaps and 3 different sized blades. It was seen that the heat transfer rate is depending on sugar concentration, agitator speed and the gap. Also, the process time and the capacity variations depending on the radius for boiling vessels were examined for the half-sphere heating surface.
