摘要：Increasing demand for electric energy has led to more economical and safe use of electric energy. The operation of power systems in a stable and reliable manner has been a very important work. Today, Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems (FACTS) play an important role in controlling and operating power systems. In addition to improving the voltage and frequency stability of power systems with FACTS devices, they also control the power transfer in the lines. Phase Shifting Transformers (PST) are also considered as FACTS instruments. In this study, power flow analysis was done by adding Phase Shifting Transformer to IEEE 6-bus power system. The analysis of the power system was made according to the contributions of the PST to the various phases.
