摘要：The objective of this article is to study the attitude of Imam Abu-Hamid al-Ghazali toward speculative theology,the method used by different schools of thought such as the Mu‘tazilites.The Ash'arites and the Maturidites.Although al-Ghazali belongs to the Ash’arite school.the period of scepti- cism through which he passed made him free to study and evaluate speculative theology in an objective way.
