摘要：The study purports to provide answers to the following questions: 1.What is the order of importance and implementation of training techniques as viewed by educational supervisors in general,and by the supervisors of English and social studies in particular? 2.What is the correlation between the importance of the training techniques as viewed by the supervisors in general and by the supervisors of English and social studies in particular and their actual implementation of them? The sample consisted of 94 Jordanian supervisors.The instrument included ten randomly ordered training techniques.The findings were: 1.The "workshop" was the most important technique for all supervisors and for the social studies supervisors.2.The supervisor and video demonstrations were most important and workshops were most implemented by the English language supervisors.3.There existed a positive correlation between importance ordering and implementation ordering for all supervisors and for the English language supervisors.
