摘要：The aim of the study was to find out the factors affecting student drop-out at the Teachers College in Riyadh.To achieve this aim,a questionnaire was developed.Forty-three items were included to cover factors expected to influence student drop-out.Proper ways of calculating the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were used.The questionnaire was then administered to a representative sample of full-time and part-time students taken from those drop-outs,(N = 189).The statistical analysis of the data has shown the following results.Factors that seemed to have affected student drop-out were educational,social,psychological,economical,and environmental.Also significant relationships and differences were noticed between some demographic variables and factors influencing drop-outs.In the light of these findings,the researchers made some recommendations and suggestions.
