摘要：The development of modern hotel industry in accordance with the principles of ecological responsibility confronted with numerous doubts, positive and negative consequences, as well as misuses, in order to achieve greater economic profit. At the world level, numerous initiatives have been launched to stimulate environmental responsibility in tourism and hotel industry. In order to emphasize the ecological orientation of hotels, various certification programs have been developed that award hotels with different types of eco-certification. In spite of the tendency to develop the hotel industry in accordance with the principles of ecological responsibility, their successful implementation in practice means that all actors involved in the development of hotel industry should accept their responsibilities. This paper aims at reviewing the literature to point out the various aspects of application of ecological responsibility in the hospitality industry.
