摘要：The Apuseni Mountains are a very beautiful area which permits optimal evolution of the tourist activities in environmental-friendly conditions. Regarding these facts, the agrotourist activity extended and tourist facilities multiplied considerably during the past years. The basis of this progress are the multitude of carstic phenomena in the area. Caves like "Peştera Ursilor”, "Peştera Scărişoara” and many others represent a touristic attraction both for our country and worldwide. Developing the "gold corporation” extraction project and using cyanides during the mining processes can seriously affect the progress of tourism in the area.
