摘要:Recently,food packaging has active and dynamic roles which allow it to interact with product and environment,as it is known as smart packaging.This packaging has been possible to monitor and communicate the quality of food packed by time/temperature indicators.A film as a label with color indicator has been developed in this research using chitosan-PVA (polyvinyl alchohol) with natural dyes of erpa leaves (Aerva sanguinolenta).Indicator film was stored in four different conditions in freezer (-10±2)°C),cold (3±2°C),room temperature (25±3 oC) and treatment of sun exposure to 40oC.The respon of film was investigated through color changing.The results showed that smart films stored in freezer has more color stable for 78 days with L value ranging from 41.10 to 44.04 (red to yellow).Film at cold temperature could maintain the red color-red yellow untill 7 days of storage and at the 8th day,it changed the color to yellow with L value more than 50.Further more,indicator films deposited at room temperature seemed that the changing of color occurred at less than one day from red to yellow where are storage at 40°C and solar exposure had caused the film indicator changed color faster,in 2 hours.
