摘要：The globalization tendency of the markets and the increase of competition between companies have determined the diminishing of the difference between risks which were accepted voluntarily by the company management and the inevitable risks for which it is necessary to use a way of covering them. Therefore, the risks assumed by the companies have become more and more complex and more difficult to manage. At the same time, besides the diversification and the increase of the risks complexity, the companies which are properly managed and which operate in areas with significant competitive advantages, can use new opportunities to obtain profit and for their development. In this context, it is important for each company to perform a careful analysis of the risks which operate upon its activity. Generally speaking, among the risks that companies run, a special place is held by the foreign exchange risk whose evaluation and management represent one of the greatest challenges of the risk management.
