摘要：Fires cause great damage as well as fatalities in multiple residential buildingsevery year.Analysis of firesin the multiple occupancy buildingsin our country in the year 2006-2007 showed that the following places are most at risk: kitchen (38% of all fires),chimney (15%),balcony (7%),basement (6%),room (5%) and bathroom (4%).An analysis of possible measuresfor the reduction of fire hazardsshowed that there were relatively cost effective methods available,which have been used with much advantage abroad,but unfortunately not in Slovenia.
