摘要：Building with solid timber is one of the oldest building techniques. The subject of the research "building in solid timber" are contemporary wooden construction systems. The primary load-bearing elements of wooden construction systems are composed of solid planar lamellas. Particular construction elements are joined together by glue,nails or by steel and wooden treenails,thus forming a wooden planar construction that can be used for elements of ceilings,vertical walls or roofing. Contemporary solid timber building isn't linear continuation of traditional log structures,but transformation into an industrial product that repeatedly stresses ecological and psychological qualities of wood.
