摘要:Educating their personnel to increase productivity has become a necessity for firms to continue their existence under heavy competition. In this perspective,job orientation came to foreground. This type of education is believed to increase job satisfaction and to decrease job turnover rate,resulting in an advantage for the firm in the competitive market. The main purpose of this study to determine if job orientation affects job satisfaction in hotels. Parallel to this aim,related literature has been scanned and theoretical framework of job orientation and job satisfaction has been presented. The research has been carried out using job orientation and job satisfaction scales. The research focused on 261 workers in Konya who work in four and five stars hotels. The study aims to answer if job orientation and job satisfaction are dependent on demographic factors or not. The relation between job orientation and job satisfaction are studied through a regression analysis. The results of the analysis reveal job orientation have a positive effect on hotel workers’ job satisfaction.
