摘要：Firms go to public with several incentives and objectives however they withdraw public offerings with different reasons. In 1991-2013,the reasons of delisting volunteer withdrawals are investigated in 40 firms in Borsa Istanbul stock exchange. Our findings are;(a) firms mostly withdraw in economic crisis periods (b) the probability of resubmission is highly probable for firms with experience (c) successful underwriters encourage resubmissions. Moreover,there is a relationship between (d) withdrawal reasons and firm’s age,(e) withdrawals and selling procedure,(f) withdrawal reasons and public offerings methodology.
