摘要：The purpose of the paper is to analyse the methodological framework applied in investment projects’ development. It was considered the domain of design and construction projects. The paper identifies the main stages associated with the project’s development,respectively the opportunity,fundamentation,financing and implementation. After analysing these documents,appropriate solutions were proposed to improve the efficiency of the evaluation process and the relevancy of its results. The solutions were based on the literature review that the authors carried out on the topic of investment projects’ evaluation and on their professional experience as projects writers,evaluators and managers. The originality of the paper is supported by the innovative solutions proposed to the present problems that affect the investment projects’ development in Romania.
