摘要:The writer contemplates some questions of multicultural education in the context of today’s globalisation tendencies. The life in our troublesome world requires new competencies,especially those within interpersonal communication,the quest for values,and the clarification of one’s own identity. Based on such axiological background,various objectives of multicultural education are identified,both in their general and individual dimensions. These objectives,consequently,determine the tasks to be fulfilled by schools in the field of multicultural education.
