摘要:Special schools are undoubtedly institutions educating a very specific category of children and young people. Their parents often have to overcome difficulties which are typical for the admission of the handicapped to suitable educational institutions, for the choice of apt educational procedures, and for the support to efficient schooling and education. Therefore, these pupils’ parents represent a rather specific category too. Our contribution brings some partial results of a project named Parents of pupils of special educational needs in the role of the school’s educational and social partners. Described are the ways in which the parents want to affluence their children’s education, opine about the general operation of the school,or enforce anything they regard beneficial. The opinions of parents as individuals or as a group are compared to those characteristic for conventional basic schools.
