摘要:The study deals with the problems of ICT implementation in schools. There are three basic viewpoints such process may be observed from, and the school must be understood as a location where ICT implementation instigates changes. It is also important to grasp the roles of the school’s traditions, preferred behavioural patterns, values, beliefs, and external relations (mezzo perspective). Yet if we understand the implementation of modern technologies as a comprehensive problem, then the school-targeted reflections do not comprise it all. One more level is the educational policy (macro perspective) while another is the technologies themselves and their utilization (micro perspective). All three levels are connected with each other and play their important parts in ICT implementation. However, crucial for a successful implementation of modern technologies is the mezzo perspective, within which all the efforts must intersect. It seems that essential for the role of the school environment,in which the changes connected with ICT implementation occur,is school culture, representing an important and relatively stable factor in the life of the school.
