摘要：According to the Agreement behveen the Polish Government and the Commission o f the European Union,the EU has granted ECU 5 mln under PHARE Programme entitled „Land Information System - Modernisation Programme ”. The Programme provides the support fo r the establishment o f a comprehensive flexible and up-to-date LIS. Poland is aware that this will be possible by introduction digital methods o f aerial photogrammetry as well as information technology in geodetic and cartographic practice. The main component o f The Programme is the aerial photography survey. During three years from 1995 until 1997 the whole area o f Poland will be covered by colour photography in the scale o f 1:26000,and additionally 17 selected towns in the scale 1:5000. This photographs are going to be used fo r the production and revision o f topographical maps and orthophotomaps in the scale o f 1:10000 (1:5000),or 1:1000fo r urban areas. Aerial Photography Programme is carried out by the Consortium Eurosense with Polish co-partners.' The processing and film s checking is done by Polish service. The paper presents detailed parameters o f the aerial photography and current progress o f the Programme. This information is preluded by more general remarks concerning up-to-date technological issues in the aerial photography and their impact on photo quality.
