摘要：The poll,which was carried out in different public and professional communities,proved insufficient response of the GIS about the protected areas regarding the needs of the potential users. It was found out that this problem concerns first of all the following applications of GIS: general environmental information,scientific research,nature education,tourism. Following the needs formulated by the users,creation of integrated geographical information system for the protected areas was proposed. At the beginning the base of the GIS structure will be the Biosphere Reserves Network,and afterwards the other protected areas should be included into it.
