摘要:The preliminary results of using multispectral images from an ALI (Advanced Land Imager) sensor on board the EO-1 satellite for assessment of the accumulation process and spatial propagation of water contaminations in the tested reservoir – Dobczyce Reservoir, are presented in this paper. The methodology of this study was based on different procedures of the full set of multispectral data processing compiled into two segments, namely: (1) image enhancement (radiometric correction, contrast manipulation, thresholding, spatial filtering, merging of panchromatic and spectral bands) and (2) thematic information extraction (multi-image manipulation, color composite generation and quantitative criteria analysis, unsupervised image classification). The study focused on evaluating the color composite of all multispectral satellite data based on varied statistical procedures (OIF and MOIK index). In the next stage, the usefulness of the spectral information enhancement procedure, concerning the 16 bits per pixel recording, was tested. The Local Correlation Method, not used in Poland before, was applied for this task. The main task relied on reservoir water categorization regarding water suspension. The task used the unsupervised classification and threshold procedure. A very interesting pattern of suspended matter propagation as a deposition of mineral and organic matter originating from the immediate watershed, especially from its northern part, was obtained during the course of investigation. A very clear zoning as an indicator of different concentration of water contamination was also observed. In conclusion,ALI sensor data were very useful for spatial distribution of water mineral and organic contamination within the inland water reservoirs. A continuation of the research in a scientific project, financed by the KBN is planned for upper Raba.
